Decorate Shoes with Glitter

Make Dorothy's ruby red slippers or emerald green witch shoes for Halloween is a super fun was to sparkle up scuffed white or black patent holiday shoes. This is a wonderful craft for you & your little girl to do together especially if you LOVE shiny shoes.

We glitter shoes in two ways: shake glitter and glitter glue.

How to decorate shoes with glitter:

Materials: Shoes, Spray Adhesive, Glitter

Start with a clean pair of patent leather Mary Janes (or any shoes you feel like decorating)
Stuff shoes with paper
Spray adhesive spray all over and sprinkle on glitter, it's ok if glitter misses spots the first time
Let dry for awhile
Repeat until you are happy with the shoes - 2 or 3 times should do it. Too much glitter is OK because it will come off a little at a time.

How to decorate shoes with glitter glue:

Materials: Shoes, Paint Brush, Glitter Glue

Start with a clean pair of Patent Leather Shoes (or any shoes you feel like decorating)

Stuff shoes with paper
Squeeze out glue onto a section and spread out with paint brush,  it's ok if glitter misses spots
Let dry for awhile
Repeat until you are happy with the shoes - 2 or 3 times should do it


Add foil stars , flowers or anything else that will stick to your shoes.

It's SO easy my little girls made their own pair while I was making these.
